Preconfigured and Custom Programs for all needs
Our sterilization and bio-decontamination systems are developed by our in-house Automation Department in compliance with current international standards and tailored to the specific characteristics of the products being processed.
Available programs include:
- Sterilization/bio-decontamination chamber leak tests under pressure or vacuum
- Bowie-Dick test
- Helix test
- Automatic sterilization of the vacuum-break filter with integrity testing
- Sterilization cycles for solid components and porous loads
- Sterilization of liquids in vented containers
- Sterilization of liquids in sealed containers
- Bio-decontamination of surfaces and heat-sensitive components
Steam is introduced into the chamber through an automatic modulating valve with PID control, while condensate is continuously removed to ensure optimal heat distribution throughout the sterilization cycle. This guarantees highly uniform temperature control with deviations of less than ±0.4°C.
Bio-Decontamination Process
The bio-decontamination cycle is designed to maximize efficacy and process reliability through:
- Load conditioning using vacuum pulses and heated air injection
- Pressure equalization at atmospheric conditions with stable temperature and humidity
- Controlled vacuum ramp with hydrogen peroxide injection
- Exposure phase under constant vacuum conditions
- Hydrogen peroxide removal through vacuum pulses to promote efficient degassing via a catalytic filter
- Safe gas release only when residual hydrogen peroxide concentration falls below 1 ppm
