• Acts to ensure that activities, workplaces and operating methods protect health, safety, environment, company assets and community by complying with applicable regulations.
• Formulates goals for continuous improvement in quality, health and safety, environment (including pollution prevention) and energy efficiency.
• Assesses staff risks in advance, adopting solutions to prevent accidents, injuries and occupational diseases, giving preference to collective measures over individual ones.
• Analyses risks related to business environment and processes related to quality, safety, environment and energy.
• Maintains up-to-date management and surveillance procedures to ensure compliance with health, safety, contract, machinery, environmental, and nonconformity management
• Examines the environmental impacts of activities and processes, taking measures to reduce pollution and contamination.

• Promotes staff training and awareness on the use of PPE and the importance of individual contribution to company goals.
• Activates communication channels to foster dialogue with internal and external parties, ensuring continuous and constructive discussion.
• Involves suppliers in adopting management systems and training to mutually improve quality, safety, environment and energy.
