Integrated management system policy
To foster synergy among the various company management systems, LAST Technology adopts a unified policy encompassing the following areas:
- Quality (ISO 9001)
- Occupational Health and Safety (ISO 45001)
- Environmental Management (ISO 14001)
- Energy Management (ISO 50001)
This Policy articulates LAST Technology’s commitment to the continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS), recognizing it as fundamental to the company’s reputation, image, and profitability. It serves as a guide for the company’s commitments and improvement targets, and is regularly updated to reflect organizational, regulatory, and socio-economic developments.
LAST Technology is dedicated to integrating quality, safety, environmental, and energy management practices into its operations, strengthening its strategic and operational roles by allocating appropriate resources.
To ensure the ongoing relevance and effectiveness of this Policy, LAST TECHNOLOGY:
- Ensures that activities, workplaces, and operating procedures safeguard health, safety, the environment, company assets, and the community, in full compliance with applicable regulations.
- Sets measurable objectives for continual improvement in quality, safety, environmental protection (including pollution prevention), and energy efficiency.
- Proactively assesses personnel risks and implements preventive measures to avoid accidents, incidents, and occupational diseases, prioritizing collective safeguards over individual protective measures.
- Evaluates risks related to business context and processes, maintaining compliance with current legislation.
- Maintains up-to-date management and monitoring procedures to guarantee adherence to standards in health, safety, environment, contracts, machinery, and non-compliance issues.
- Reviews the environmental impacts of activities and processes, implementing measures to minimize and prevent pollution and contamination.
- Promotes staff training and awareness on the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the significance of individual contributions to company objectives.
- Establishes communication channels to foster ongoing, constructive dialogue with internal and external stakeholders.
- Engages suppliers in adopting management systems and participates in training initiatives for mutual development.
- Communicates the IMS principles across all staff via workplace notices and other communications.
- Conducts periodic reviews of the system to steer continual improvement efforts.
- Submits the system to external certification bodies to obtain and maintain relevant certifications.
In addition, LAST TECHNOLOGY commits to:
- Developing and maintaining an energy management system tailored to the company’s consumption, optimizing performance through continuous improvement.
- Forming an Energy Team responsible for monitoring and implementing energy management practices.
- Equipping personnel with the necessary information and resources to meet energy targets.
- Continuously verifying compliance with legal requirements regarding the efficient and correct use of energy.
- Encouraging the procurement and use of energy-efficient products.
- Conducting periodic energy audits to establish appropriate objectives and procedures.
- Sharing analysis outcomes to monitor progress towards set goals.
All employees and collaborators, in accordance with their skills and responsibilities, are expected to support this Policy, embrace its principles, and actively contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the IMS.
