RESPONSABILITY

Sustainability for LAST Technology

LAST Technology has accompanied its growth strategy over time with the consolidation of a corporate culture inspired by shared principles, commitments and good practices of social responsibility.

Inspired by the SDGs of the United Nations, we have created a strategy based on 6 clusters, in order to be able to also contribute, to the creation of a better and more sustainable world for future generations.

INNOVATION AND EXCELLENCE

We make sterilization and washing machines that meet our customers’ expectations in terms of technological requirements. We contribute to improve the pharmaceutical production chain for the benefit of the entire community by minimizing its environmental impact.

CREATING A SHARED VALUE

The environmental and social related goals are integrated into our planning and control system and are promptly reported in our Sustainability Report, which is drawn up with the highest level of compliance with international standards.

Corporate Social Responsability

The Company adopts a business model that aims to create long-term value through the creation of shared value with its stakeholders. To achieve this, it organizes and conducts business activities with the intention of promoting social equity and contributing to the achievement of carbon neutrality by properly managing resources for the benefit of the environment and future generations. LAST Technology has formulated its own Sustainability Policy, which sets out the guiding principles for the entire organization and external collaborators.

The Sustainability Policy is one of the pillars of the Company’s governance model. It governs the way the company operates and reflects the values shared and promoted by the workforce, which is aware that behavior based on the principles of integrity, transparency and accountability leads to economic and social progress.

Strategy, shared value, industrial plan

Our shared value approach is at the heart of our business, with sustainability guiding business decisions. This principle guides strategy and innovation, aligning them with the priorities of the 2030 United Nations global Agenda. Our vision translates into positive impacts on competitiveness, reputation and people engagement, as we strive to integrate environmental and social challenges into our daily operations.

The Company’s strategy takes shape through the Business Plan, a document outlined over a 4-year time horizon. The latest Plan envisages growing economic results, achieved thanks to strict compliance with the principles of economic-financial, environmental and social sustainability. We are also committed to sustainable growth, balancing business needs with responsibility towards the environment and community. Our Sustainability Policy is the foundation on which this commitment is based, involving not only the Board of Directors and managers, but all employees and collaborators worldwide.

EMPLOYEES

Strategic vision, strong results-oriented approach, continuous customer satisfaction pursuit, innovation drive and attention to future market scenarios. These are the main principles that guide each individual and team action that aims to create value for all stakeholders. People represent the fundamental element that enables us to meet the challenges in an increasingly dynamic and competitive international environment.

For these reasons, LAST Technology places people at the center of its organization, promoting an inclusive, educational and stimulating work environment that allows everyone to express their passion, creativity and talent. Furthermore, LAST Technology, in its relationship with its employees respects in all circumstances, regardless of the type of taks performed, the principles enshrined in the Ethic Code and current legislation.

ENVIRONMENT

Raising environmental awareness in order to define and implement programs and activities is a priority goal of ours. We firmly believe in actively contributing to ensure responsible production, and to this end, we are striving to achieve the ambitious net-zero emissions goal by 2030.

For several years, we have been working tirelessly to promote more sustainable industrial processes on multiple fronts. Emissions at our plant will be reduced by 50% from 2024, thanks to the company’s large investments in energy efficiency made during the last years and the installation in 2023 of a 515 kWh photovoltaic system, which will generate electricity for self-consumption.

COMMUNITY

We believe that the power of strategic synergy can go beyond organizational boundaries, generating positive impacts for all parties involved and on the environment.

Our vision aims to promote long-term positive impact. Awareness of stakeholder needs and understanding of market dynamics drive us to develop collaborations that go beyond traditional industry boundaries, creating an environment where economic growth is integrated with social and environmental well-being.

In this way, we not only aspire to achieve corporate goals, but also strive to contribute to collective progress, demonstrating that strategic collaboration can be a vehicle for positive change globally.
